I am a teacher and photographer with a background in k-12 bilingual education and wedding photography. The following is a collection of photographs that represent work that is meaningful to me. The gallery starts with photographs collected over the last two years from my teaching post in Washington DC and phases into my work as a teacher in the grasslands of rural Tanzania. Though this is a limited gallery, it is meaningful to me because it documents the joys and emotions of being a student. The last image is different the rest. Yet, i wanted to share because it played a role in inspiring me to find meaningful stories surrounding dance and music.
